The most raised part of the Sredne-Siberian plateau - mountains Putorana on which takes place a route. As mountains Putorana consider a basalt plateau on northwest suburb of the Sredne-Siberian plateau. It is stretched from an Arctic circle almost to 71® these and from 88® to 101® century д. (More than 500 km). In these limits the area of a province of Putorana makes 284000 клг. The average height of mountains 900 - 1200 m, and the highest - 1701 m is in their central part. The most typical line of mountains Putorana - a combination платообразных the levelled surfaces of hills and deep lake hollows, and also river valleys with каньонистыми coast. Differences in height 800 - 1000 m. In the west are most extended, the north and the east the basalt plateau breaks sharp ledges to 300 - 500 m of height to Western-Siberian and North Siberian plain and to a calcareous Kotujsky plateau. To the plateau south smoothly goes down, gradually passing to the general level of plateau with heights 500 - 700 m.        On the right side on top along a canyon the snow terrace (f.61-63) also lasts. In 400 - 500 m from the beginning of a canyon it rests in big snow кулуар, well looked through with an index point.
      Descent to a canyon bottom begins with the right terrace, without reaching 100 - 150 m to snow кулуара. Opposite to a point of the beginning of descent on the right (snow) slope bordering a snow terrace there is a characteristic small rocky ledge in the form of a triangle. Descent begins from a stone 1,5 х 1,5 m separately sticking out on the brink of a canyon.
      All descent passes on a snow slope from one rocky islet to another. Thus both main safety requirements are provided: first avalanching possibility, and secondly is excluded, safety cords are reliably fixed for rocky ledges or крючья.
      The descent description:
      At first 15 m downwards and to the right (64) to a rocky ledge (the slope steepness 30-35®), then downwards is a little to the right 50 m to. A separate stone 3 х 2 m (a steepness 35-40®). Then 40 m downwards, to the left (the steepness 45-65®, ф.65) and 10м to the right bypassing rocky breakage to a characteristic snow pocket under a rock with which flows down small ледопад. Here a good place for gathering ^ groups (ф.66). From here descent of 20 m (a steepness to 45®) in долинку "ледопадного" a stream which deduces several rather sloping (to 25®) steps on a canyon bottom (67).
      On the first sites applied перильную the insurance: from above prior to the beginning of the most abrupt site has been hung репшнур (70) on which went on a sliding carbine, further - to snow кардана went on the seizing knot on a handrail from the basic cord (50). Last abrupt 20 metres have passed with the top insurance, and further - on foot. Last participant went on abrupt sites with the bottom insurance.
      All way of descent at first has been seen by "scouts" from a left-bank terrace of a canyon, and then passed completely by them. On investigation 3 hours have left, but has been chosen and processed (протоптаны steps, are filled крючья) a safe variant of descent (66).
